why do I have to register my book?

The library of Congress is there to protect your written works in the United States.
If you don't register your literary works, someone else can claim it, and all the benefits that comes with it.

Wouldn't it be a shame not to, especially if Oprah's Bookclub picked it up?
You be the judge.

where to write

It really depends on you, your style and how you feel.
I always prefer to be alone in a room in my comfortable chair,
but that's not always possible.
It's ideal but not practical.

Keep pen/paper (I know I'm old fashioned, but that's my thing!) ipad/notepad/cell/laptop/napkin
or whatever you can get your hands on to give birth to words trying to express itself
through you.

Eventually you'll get to the point of a perfect location,
but in the meantime, write any and where ever you can.

Thoughts come through don't always come when you want them,
but they do come, when you least expect it!

Stay ready, listening and waiting to write!
